We allow canoes, kayaks, jet skis and motor boats that will fit under the bridge to launch.
Are there any size restrictions for launching from Dunham's Bay Marina?
Boats up to 59 inches from the water line to the windshield will fit under the bridge.
What permits must I obtain and laws must I follow to boat on Lake George?

Does the marina ever fill up so we can't launch?
No, there are plenty spaces available to accommodate everyone.
What's the best time to launch on the weekends and/or weekdays?
9-10 am is the best time to launch both on the weekends and during the week.
What do I do if I want to launch and no one is there?
You will receive an envelope with the amount you owe on the windshield of your car. Please put your payment in the mail slot at the blue hut.
What if I just need to get my boat out of the water?
You will be charged the same rate as if you launched from our marina. See the Rates page.
Do you sell gas?
We do not sell gas. However, there are places on the lake nearby including to the right once you go under the bridge.
When do you lock the launch gate?
The launch gate is never locked while we are open for the season.
What dates are you open?
We are open from May until October.
Are there any nearby places to eat or stay?
Just to the east of Dunham's Bay Marina is the Dunham's Bay Resort. They have hotel rooms, cabin suites and a restaurant.
